SCR Medical Transportation’s Private Trip Department.

Private Trips are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. We also provide group trips and charter service for all occasions.

When arranging a trip we ask for a few facts in order to make the trip as pleasant as possible. For your convenience SCR Medical Transportation accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and checks. An estimate charge will be given upon submitting the Private Trip Order Form", or by calling the number listed below.

Please allow 24 hours for a response after submitting the Private Trip Order Form online or fax the form to 773.768.6280. To retrieve a printable order form, click on the "Trip Order Form". For same day trips call 773.356.6049 and a SCR driver will be there within the hour. Times may vary for the suburbs. After 5pm and weekends call 773.768.7000.

-In 1996 SCR was awarded the Small Business of the Year Award by the Bank of America.

-SCR was featured in Crain’s Small Business Magazine, Indigo Newspaper, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Defender and many other community publications.

-SCR was also featured in Jet Magazine and on WLS TV’s, Minority Business Report.

-In 2004, Stanley and Pamela Rakestraw were awarded the Business of the Year Award by the Chatam Business Association.

-In 2004 Taxicab, Limousine Association (TLPA) proudly awarded SCR with the Operator of the Year Award.

-In 2005 TLPA recognized SCR’s driver Larry Lewis as the driver of the year!
